At Meal in a Pie, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to customer satisfaction. Due to the perishable nature of the items we sell, this policy outlines how we handle returns, issues, and our satisfaction guarantee.
1. NO RETURNS ON PERISHABLE GOODS
All food products sold by Meal in a Pie are perishable.
As such:
- We do not accept returns of food items.
- We cannot restock or resell products once they have left our control.
2. 100% PRODUCT SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
We proudly stand behind our products 100%.
If you are not satisfied with your order due to:
- Quality concerns
- Incorrect items
- Damaged products
- Significant deviation from expected condition
We will work with you to make it right.
At our sole discretion, we may offer:
- Replacement of the product
- Store credit
- Partial or full refund
3. CLAIM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for resolution under this policy:
- You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
- You must provide:
- Your order details
- A description of the issue
- Photo evidence of the product (required for damaged or quality claims)
Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
4. SHIPPING AND HEAT DISCLAIMER
Due to shipping conditions, especially in warm climates such as Florida:
- Certain products (including biltong and droëwors) may experience:
- Fat melting
- Texture or moisture changes
These changes do not necessarily indicate spoilage or defect.
Therefore:
- Claims based solely on heat-related cosmetic or texture changes may not qualify for refund or replacement.
5. NON-ELIGIBLE CLAIMS
We do not provide refunds, replacements, or credits for:
- Orders reported after 24 hours
- Products improperly stored after delivery
- Incorrect shipping address provided by the customer
- Carrier delays outside of our control
- Personal taste preferences
6. LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
- If your package is lost or arrives significantly damaged, contact us immediately.
- We will assist in filing a claim with the carrier when applicable.
- Resolution will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
7. FINAL DECISION
All claims and resolutions are subject to Meal in a Pie’s sole discretion.
